Tree Farmers, forest landowners, and forestry and natural resource professionals are invited to join us to tour the award winning Alter-Bevis Farms. A congratulatory awards luncheon for John and Elizabeth Alter, Florida’s 2015 Outstanding Tree Farmers of the Year will take place following the tour. This tour is in association with Florida’s Working Forest Awareness Week (October 18-24, 2015).
Meet and greet and refreshments will be provided near the property entrance at 9:00 am CT. Introductions and tour will begin at 9:30 am. After the tour we will travel to the Bascom Town Hall for the Alters’ Award presentation at 11:45 am. Lunch will be provided at noon. Join us for this opportunity to discuss forestry practices and mingle with landowners and forestry professionals.

Alter-Bevis Farms, 5246 Hwy71, just a mile south of Malone, FL. The driveway will be well marked and is 370 feet south of the green and white Malone City Limit sign on Hwy 71. Look for the 4’x4’ Tree Farm sign on the east side of Hwy 71
