The Panhandle Youth Expo is an educational event sponsored by the Panhandle Youth Expo, Inc., a non-profit corporation, whose purpose is to promote livestock education. Entry is open to youth from Jackson, Walton, Washington, Calhoun, Holmes, Liberty, and Bay counties,  Houston and Geneva counties in Alabama, and Seminole County in Georgia.

Livestock Shows

Livestock Shows are open to all youth enrolled in public, private and home schools, and who are current, bonafide members of 4-H and FFA. These youth will compete in different contests, including Livestock and Poultry Judging, Beef Showmanship, Swine Showmanship, Goat Showmanship and, of course, the beef, poultry, goat and swine shows.

The swine show will be a non-terminal show this year, since there are other shows scheduled after the PYE where exhibitors may wish to show their hogs.  Tagging and health certificates are the responsibility of the exhibitor.  Health papers for swine entries must be presented at time of check-in.
