Earn CEU’s online or in our office
Licensed restricted-use pesticide applicators are encouraged to attend trainings and meetings to earn Continuing Education Units (CEU’s). Valuable and updated information is offered at each meeting on chemicals, label changes and safety, as well as crop variety updates. Other benefits are question & answer opportunities, as well as interaction with industry representatives.
Applicators who find themselves short of CEU’s at license renewal time have several options available to them:
- Jackson County Extension Office has two video programs approved for CEU’s; licensed applicators can earn Aquatic, Private and CORE CEU’s; call 850-482-9620 for more information
- Earn online Pesticide CEU’s at the University of Florida Pesticide Education web site
- Find nearby events & trainings, or online & correspondence classes, and earn CEU’s through the Bureau of Compliance Monitoring (State Pesticide Office)
- Growing Produce – magazine articles – earn CEU’s in various categories
