Jackson 4-H sewing club celebrates holidays

The Jackson 4-H Sewing Club finished up 2017 with a bang, or should we say with some awesome sewing skills!  Their last club meeting on December 11th was also a holiday party.

Jackson 4-H Sewing Club members (L-R) Clara Coleman, Ava Coleman, Diana Buchanan, Sarah Fox, Club Leader Sandy Voss, Layla Buchanan, Sarah Harrison and Morgan Seale.

Thanks to the efforts of 4-H volunteers Sandy Voss, Anita Crossley, Sally Blizzard and Linda Jarmon, and 4-H Program Assistant Patti Peacock, these youth completed six projects during the period of October 23rd – December 11th.  This group has met as a “4-H Spin Club” for the past two years, but plans are underway to have them become a year-round club.  Club meeting dates for 2018 will be posted soon.

Jackson 4-H is proud to work with such awesome volunteers and to bring opportunities to youth such as these, to develop important life skills.
