The Jackson County 4-H program offers several camping opportunities for youth. We have both local day camps, as well as residential camps. Our overnight camp takes place at the Timpoochee 4-H Center in Niceville.
REGISTRATION DEADLINE: June 5, 2017
Packets WILL BE AVAILABLE APRIL 3, 2017 at the Jackson County Extension office at 2741 Penn Avenue, Suite 3, Marianna. A non-refundable $10 per packet fee is due at the time the packets are picked up (CASH OR CHECK ONLY, PLEASE). This fee reserves your child’s spot, and the $10 will be deducted from the total cost of tuition at the time the balance is paid. PACKETS WILL GO FAST, SO DON’T DELAY!
Camper Age: 8-12 years (Campers must have turned 8 by September 1, 2016)
Cost for Campers: $250 for non-registered 4-H members, $240 for registered 4-H’ers.
Late Registration for Campers: NONE
First-time Camper Orientation:
This is mandatory for ALL first-time campers. The orientation give you the opportunity to get your questions answered, and to meet some of the counselors prior to camp. The orientation will be held June 17, 2016 at 5:00 PM at the Jackson County Extension Office.
4-H Counselors and Counselors-in-Training (CITs):
Age: 13-18 years (Teen must have turned 13 by September 1, 2016). Teens must apply and be approved to serve as Counselors and CITs. Both are required to attend training prior to camp.
Counselors and CITs will receive a Registration Packet during their first Counselor/CIT training.
